Capture smooth, dynamic sweeping pans and camera rises with the 8' Astra Compact Camera Jib/Crane from Proaim. This heavy-duty aluminum Astra system features a toolless setup and consists of a jib arm, a tilt handle, and a post to add separately available counterweights on the back of the jib arm.
The jib arm extends to 8.75' maximum length, supports loads up to 17.6 lb, and can self-balance up to 6.6 lb without counterweights. When mounted on the stand, its maximum height ranges from 9.4' with the stand at 4', to 10.8' with the stand at 5.8'. It features an LCD mounting arm to add a separately available monitor. The tilt handle allows you to tilt the camera mount from the base. The Astra 8' provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mounting threads and multiple 1/4"-20 threads to mount your camera on the mounting plate.
