The universal Leofoto LS-200 lens mount is designed to support longer lenses without its own tripod nacelle when used from a tripod. This prevents the entire weight of the lens hanging on the bayonet of your camera. In addition, balancing on a gimbal head becomes easier when using the LS-200 lens mount. Thanks to the long and wide rails with Arca-Swiss quick coupling, you fix the lens support safely and quickly on every Arca-Swiss compatible tripod head. You can also screw the base rails directly onto a tripod with a 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch tripod screw. Two screw holes are provided for both sizes.
Wide and long quick release plate
The solid Arca-Swiss compatible Leofoto LS-200 is 230mm long and 50mm wide. This lens support is modularly designed and consists of a lens plate, a vertical quick release, the Y-shaped support plate for the lens and a quick release plate for the camera. The multiple Arca-Swiss quick couplers allow you to shift all parts in relation to each other and the entire mount can be precisely tailored to any telephoto lens. The built-in spirit levels make horizontal adjustment of the lens mount easy.
Lens support made of aircraft aluminium
The Leofoto LS-200 is CNC machined from black anodised aircraft aluminium and hollowed out where possible to save weight. This makes the lens mount very strong and durable but with 371 grams it is also lightweight. The wheels on the Y-shaped lens mount are rubber-coated to prevent scratches and all parts have safety cams to prevent them from accidentally slipping out of a quick coupling when unscrewing the clamps. The wide base plate provides a large gripping surface for the "claws" of an Arca-Swiss quick release and the length of 230 centimetres makes it possible to perfectly balance a lens on a ball head or a Gimbal Head.
