The Universal Expansion Pack with Shapes from Lensbaby adds mirrored colored shapes, plus clear shapes with diffractive edges for a variety of flare effects. It also adds an infinitely configurable light leak, variable contrast, and bokeh-modifying shapes to the robust selection of custom designed special effects already available in the OMNI Filter system.
Two low profile universal clamps plus two universal clamps on handles let you mount flat or cylindrical items up to 1/4-inch thick into the OMNI Filter's magnetic filter system. Securely hold the desired shoot-through items exactly where they provide the desired effect, while freeing up both hands to work unencumbered while photographing a subject through your unique vision. In addition to the four universal clamps, The Universal Expansion Pack with Shapes includes two more long extension arms that make it possible to center even the largest shaped insert over the front of a lens, plus two magnetic bases and an array of shaped small and large inserts to get quickly adjustable, repeatable effects that were previously difficult, if not impossible, to create. The eight shaped inserts range from a long, skinny blue and silver mirror full of Swiss-cheese-like holes of various sizes to reflective grids in silver, purple, and gold that can be shot straight through for textures and selectively reduced contrast or at an angle for partial reflection effects reminiscent of light leaks.

Reflective, faceted, and translucent items of all colors, shapes and sizes abound that can be held in place with an OMNI System universal clamp. If it's heavy or flexible, try two, or even three clamps at once to securely hold any found and self-made objects in front of the lens to affect a small portion of the photos or the entire image. Partial Silver Swiss Clouds
Creates flare when photographing backlit subjects, plus a repeated ghost image of points of light in and out of the frame. Reflections of out of frame subject matter, points of light. The mirrored side of the insert will create more crisp reflections than the clear side.
Clear Paddle
Creates rainbow flare of backlit subjects, plus ghost image of points of light in and out of the frame. Reduced contrast when shooting through the clear center. Subtle reflections of out of frame subject matter, points of light.
Silver/Gold Spatula
Adds a warm light-leak effect over areas of the image when shot with the gold side positioned at an angle to the lens. Flare from light sources, often with a warm tint. Depending on side of insert seen by the lens, gold or neutral reflections of subject matter in and out of the frame.
